Born in London, England 1970. He studied at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHIO), from 1991-1996 and has since also been a guest teacher there. Barton has exhibited several larger collections of his works abroad and in Norway, most recently in 2010 at GAGO, in 2006 at Blomqvist Auction House in Oslo and in 2003/4 at Cultuurcentrum Knokke Heist in Belgium. Barton has also exhibited with group exhibitions in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, China and the USA. His works can be found in several private and corporate collections in Norway and abroad. Barton has also worked on two net-based projects: Barton founded the net based art site, Artoslo.com in 2000, focusing on Oslo based artists. In 2006 he launched www.PayPerSin.com, offering sin relief to the agnostic. |
